Band Bio
Peace, Love, & Grunge Has Landed in Portland, Oregon!
Playing 60's & 90's rock & roll hits...The two eras go together like 69! What you WILL HEAR at a PLG concert: "No way, I haven't heard this song forever!" Everyone in the audience will be belting out the lyrics to each and every song!
PLG is a collaboration of seasoned, professional local Portland, Oregon musicians playing nostalgic tunes from the 60's and 90's rock and alternative genres. They sound like Classic Rock smashed into Seattle Grunge and created this band.
When's the last time you went to a show and heard the band play, Light My Fire, Lithium, No Time, Interstate Love Song, Behind Blue Eyes, Hunger Strike, Mississippi Queen, Woodstock, and You Oughta Know (just to name a few) in the same set? PLG has married two of the most well-known and loved music era's of all time for the ultimate rock & roll EXPERIENCE!

Peace, Love & Grunge is ready to take you on a journey through the 60's and 90's best rock & roll songs that have stood the test of time. Meagan Hope, lead singer of the band, says she can get lost in the moment and on-stage experience and she hopes you will too. "It's the best feeling in the world to feel the energy from the audience wind up my spine from each performance."
Demographics
PLG draws a crowd that loves the nostalgia of songs that you might hear on the Portland classic rock station 92.3 KGON or 107.7 The End (Seattle) back in the 90’s when grunge and alternative rock ruled the airwaves! The PLG audience tends to be a mix of Millenials, Gen X, and Baby Boomers all having an experience together singing their hearts out!
Marketing & Promotions
Meagan Hope, the lead singer started her career back in college where she majored in music industry 22 years ago. She has a background in digital marketing (especially social media) and promotion. Therefore, PLG does heavy promotion on their website, socials (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube), email marketing, and when appropriate run social ads (FB and IG). The entire band always has a promo postcard on hand with QR codes that takes them directly to their upcoming shows!
Set Time
PLG can play a 2-hour set (working up to 3 hours). And can always find a great band to play with them if 3 hours or more play time is required.
“We haven't enjoyed such an intimate, talented & energetic live performance in many years!! - Meagan has an incredible voice & performance style, and all the band mates are amazingly talented!” - Wendy Karrle
